Taiwanese host Patty Hou is rumoured to be secretly engaged to a millionaire and the fiancé-in-question is a certain Mr Wong from the financial circle.

Apparently, Patty and Mr Wong, who is 3 years her senior, booked their favourite restaurant on Christmas Day for a family gathering and this led to the leak of their engagement news.

Since her failed romances with Sean Lien and Jay Chou, the 31-year-old has remained tight-lipped about her love life. However, she has expressed a desire to settle down and it was about 2 to 3 months ago when she mentioned a certain someone whom she "could chat on the phone with".

Looking positively glowing and radiant, Patty does look like she is in love. However, in order not to spoil her budding romance, she has mentioned to another that "the one" has yet to appear.

It is said that Mr Wong share lots of similarities with Taiwanese host Dee Hsu's hubby, Mike. Both are 175m tall, gentle, fashionable, and grew up overseas. Previously working in a renowned bank, he was headhunted to his current company.

Due to their compatible educational background, age and interests, Mr Wong and Patty's relationship blossomed quickly.

After her break up with Jay Chou, Patty has since maintained a low profile and plunged all her energy into her work. She will be hosting the Spring Festival with Taiwanese host Hu Gua next year January in Xiamen.

If Patty intends to have a whirlwind wedding in the future, her manager Liao Su Ping assured that the company will not stop her from doing so. As for whether she is allowed to married within these 3 years due to her father's passing a year ago, Liao replied, "Yes, because she is not a guy."
